About Us Bruce Morrison, Acton Refrigeration, Inc. company president, started the business in 1972 after a 4 year tour of duty with the United States Navy Seabees, which included two tours of duty in Vietnam. Bruce holds the following licenses, Master Sheet Metal –unrestricted, Sheet Metal as a business, Refrigeration Technician, Refrigeration Contractor and Master Pipefitter. He is a member of RSES (Refrigeration Service Engineer Society), ACCA ( Air Conditioning Contractors Association), ACA/NE (Air Conditioning Contractors of New England) and ASHREA (American Society of Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc.) and holds most of the Nate Certifications.

Rick is our Service/Installation Technician has been employed with Acton Refrigeration, Inc. since 2004 as a co-op student thru Minuteman Vocational Tech and he worked summers while attending Massasoit Community College Associates Degree program where he further trained in the HVAC industry. In addition to the above schooling Rick has completed multiple Nate Certifications in Air Conditioning, Air to Air Heat Pumps, Gas Furnaces, Hydronics-Gas, Refrigeration Light Commercial for Service and Installation. He continues to be trained through our in-house programs and through factory training on the products Acton Refrigeration, Inc. installs and services. Rick also holds an OSHS 10hr. course certification.

Nic is our Service/Installation Technician has been employed with Acton Refrigeration, Inc. since 2006. Nic came to us after he graduated from RETS Technical Center after completing the R-HVAC Program. He has Nate Certification in Air Conditioning, Air to Air Heat Pumps, Gas Furnaces, Hydronic-Gas service and installation. He continues to be trained through our in house programs and through factory training on the products Acton Refrigeration, Inc. installs and services. Nic also holds an OSHA 10 yr. course certification and a Journeymans Sheet Metal License.
